Kelly Hine

Kelly Hine is a Santa Barbara native that currently lives in the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley. She is a Signature Member of the Pastel Society of America and belongs to the West Coast Pastel Society, American Impressionist Society and is an Associate Artist of the California Art Club. She is an award winning Pastel artist with private collectors in Santa Barbara County and throughout the country. Her work has been jury selected and shown in International and National Pastel Society exhibitions along with Santa Barbara County local art shows.  

 

A great source of her creative energy comes from the diverse geographical region in which she lives, works and runs. She loves photography and has been a runner her entire life. She competed in the Boston Marathon three times and qualifying eight and her PR was 3:20 which is approximately a 7:35 pace per mile for the duration of the race. She enjoys trail running, hiking the back country with her Australian Shepard “Bear” and has been working in the Santa Barbara County Wine Industry since 2007. She is WSET certified through the Napa Valley Wine Academy and has studied with the Court of Master Sommeliers obtaining certification for level one. From the great Pacific Ocean to the beautiful Santa Ynez Mountains there is never a shortage of natural beauty for her to obtain great inspiration.
